For more than 10 years we have been working in the Kharkiv IT company and now a war has come to my country. Now in our country, many people need help and I do not want to stand aside. ​Now we are fighting not only for Ukraine, but for the whole world. Therefore, if we unite for the sake of peace, we can stop this all. ​We started volunteering so that together we would come to victory and our people would be safe.

On 24 February 2022, Russia launched a military attack on Ukraine. In the first few days of the hostilities, the Russian army has conducted attacks on the civilian population and infrastructure. Civilians are dying each day due to Russia's acts of aggression against Ukraine. Ukrainians have already demonstrated their courage and strength in defending their homeland, Europe, and our common civilizational values. This is not just an invasion of Ukraine by Russia, but a start of a war against the entire Europe.

Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia has continued to harbor significant resentment against Independent Ukraine, the country it still thinks of as a critical part of ‘Mother Russia’. It therefore considers the conquest of Ukraine as being vital for the restoration of its so-called “Historical Russia”
